ARTIST IN RESIDENCE OPPORTUNITY AT WOODLANDS PARK, ESSENDON

Expressions of Interest closing date - Thursday 1 May @ 9AM

CALLING FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST FROM ARTISTS SEEKING 8-12 WEEK RESIDENCY AT WOODLANDS PARK HOUSE GARAGE STUDIO

Moonee Valley has an established tradition in arts and culture. We are home to artists, creative practitioners and diverse communities who see art and culture as part of their way of life.

The Arts & Culture Strategy, Igniting Creativity in Moonee Valley 23-27, focuses on supporting the potential of the arts and culture community, and working together in new ways to develop Moonee Valley as a place where artists can create, exhibit, perform, collaborate and have a positive impact on the way we see our city and ourselves.

As part of the refurbishment of Woodlands Park House in 2019, the Garage was adapted into a wet-area artist studio (the Studio), with the installation of taps, basin, storage and small kitchenette.

The Studio, which sits behind Woodlands Park House, is accessible from the Winifred St car park and measures 22sqm (5225mm x 4225mm - excluding kitchenette). It is serviced by a fully accessible toilet, located adjacent to the Garage Studio
